Percier Basalt

Percier Fabric

Percier Basalt presents a cool, mineral grey ground marked by pale vertical striations that soften into the cloth’s fluid folds. Its lightly textured woven surface shifts subtly between misty grey and deeper graphite tones.

About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular vertical bands and elongated painterly marks, rather than a sharply defined geometric repeat. Cool basalt grey dominates, while lighter grey passages catch across the raised folds and give the surface a softly weathered depth. The visible weave adds fine tactile grain beneath the blurred striation pattern. Shown gathered and draped, the fabric has a supple, mid-weight appearance that suits both upholstery and window treatments.

How to use it

Use this cool grey colourway to temper darker timber, blackened metal or pale stone in a contemporary room. Its vertical marks can add understated movement to curtains, while the mineral tone works well on a relaxed occasional chair or sofa.

A cool basalt-grey ground with softly blurred vertical striations, bringing quiet movement and texture to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
