Rouen Fabric

Rouen II Fuschia presents as a deep fuchsia-wine textile, with a restrained surface texture that becomes more dimensional across the gathered folds. Its fluid handle is especially evident in the soft, cascading drape shown here.

About this fabric

The colour sits between saturated fuchsia and dark berry, reading as a warm, wine-tinged pink rather than a vivid neon shade. A very fine woven texture is visible across the flatter areas of the cloth, adding quiet grain without introducing a motif. In the folds, the same colour moves from softly lit berry highlights into deep burgundy shadows. The fluid way the fabric gathers makes this colourway particularly well suited to drapery and softly falling window treatments.

How to use it

Pair the deep fuchsia-wine tone with warm timber, smoked finishes and muted blush or clay accents. Used as full-length curtains, its shaded folds can add colour depth while keeping the room feeling intimate rather than bright.

Use this deep fuchsia-wine tone for softly draped curtains that bring depth without a bright, sugary pink.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
