About this fabric
The Bayleaf colour sits between olive green and soft charcoal, giving the fabric a cool, restrained depth rather than a bright botanical green. Its plain surface is free from visible motif or weave variation, allowing the softly satin-like sheen to define the design. Broad folds catch the light in muted highlights while the recessed creases read almost charcoal, creating subtle tonal movement across the cloth. The fluid handle shown here makes this colourway particularly suited to drapery with generous folds.
How to use it
Pair Serena Bayleaf with warm timber, chalky neutrals and aged brass to balance its cool grey-green depth. Use it as full-length curtains where its smooth fall and subdued lustre can be seen in changing light.
Use this fluid, softly lustrous bayleaf shade for full-length curtains or relaxed statement drapery.

Pairs well with
Serena Bayleaf is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
