About this fabric

This colourway reads as a dark matcha olive, with a muted depth rather than a bright or yellow-green cast. Its smooth, fine-looking surface creates a subtle lustre as the fabric gathers, while the folds show darker green shadows alongside softer olive highlights. The plain face keeps the emphasis on tone, drape and light rather than pattern. The fluid appearance makes it best suited to drapery, particularly where the cloth can hang in generous folds.

How to use it

Pair Serena Matcha with warm timber, aged brass and other grounded natural tones for a cocooning scheme. Its deep olive shade is especially effective as full-length curtains, where the softly reflective folds add movement without introducing a motif.

Use the dark matcha tone for softly dramatic curtains that reveal a subtle sheen in gathered folds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
