Serena Fabric

Serena Poseidon is shown in a deep ink-navy blue, with the dark surface shifting subtly as the cloth gathers into folds. Its fluid fall and restrained sheen give the swatch a quietly dramatic presence.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a near-black navy with a cool blue cast, rather than a bright or saturated blue. The smooth surface catches the light along the raised folds, creating soft slate-blue highlights against deeper blue-black shadows. Its fine, fluid appearance is most suited to drapery, particularly where the cloth can hang or gather freely. No composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Pair the deep ink-navy tone with pale stone, smoky grey or warm timber to balance its cool depth. It is especially effective as softly gathered full-length curtains, allowing the subtle sheen to show through the folds.

Use this deep ink-navy tone for full-length curtains where its soft sheen can catch the light across gathered folds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
