About this fabric

The close-up shows an almost patternless surface, allowing the rich quince-red colour to remain the defining feature. Its tone sits between dark berry and warm wine, with the highlights appearing softer and slightly rosier across the raised folds. The fabric gathers easily into long, fluid channels, while the deeper creases create substantial tonal depth. This flowing behaviour makes the colourway particularly suited to drapery where its subtle sheen can change with the light.

How to use it

Pair Solaire Quince with warm timber, aged brass and soft neutral walls to balance its deep berry-red tone. Full-length curtains would emphasise the fabric’s fluid folds and softly shifting highlights.

Use this deep wine-red colourway for full-length curtains or soft, statement drapery with an elegant, low-lit mood.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
