Woburn Indigo

Woburn Fabric

Woburn Indigo pairs a deep, cool blue ground with a soft, weathered-looking botanical drawing in pale blue-grey and stone. In the draped swatch, the folds deepen the indigo and give the woven surface a quietly dimensional finish.

About this fabric

Against the deep, cool indigo ground, pale blue-grey and muted stone botanical forms resolve into curling stems, leaves and flower heads. The cloth has a clearly tactile, closely woven surface: fine vertical texture remains visible through the folds, while the lighter pattern catches the light unevenly. No further composition, width or performance specification is supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use its near-navy indigo as the anchoring colour on an upholstered armchair, headboard or sofa, then pick up the pale stone stems with chalky neutrals and aged wood. The cool, inky ground suits rooms needing a more atmospheric alternative to black.

A cool, inky botanical for upholstery with pale stone accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
