Hillbank Fabric28

28 Toffee is a warm toffee-beige plain weave, with tiny vertical and horizontal yarn shifts visible across the close-up. Its softly varied surface keeps the colour from reading as flat.

About this fabric

The dense-looking surface is built from fine intersecting yarns, producing a restrained crosshatch rather than a printed motif. In this colourway, beige, caramel and muted taupe threads combine into a warm, lightly weathered toffee tone. The close-up shows a mostly even face with minute slubs and tonal shifts catching the light. The supplied record catalogues it as Fabric but provides no composition, width, rub test or performance features.

How to use it

Use this warm toffee-beige on an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa where its quiet woven texture can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. It works particularly well with creamy linen, natural wood and deeper brown accents.

The warm toffee-beige tone brings gentle depth to upholstered seating and pairs naturally with timber, linen and muted neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
