About this fabric

The colour reads as warm ivory rather than a stark white, with fine beige and taupe threads adding gentle depth. Short, nubby fibres and irregular horizontal slubs give the weave a softly brushed, lightly ribbed character. The restrained contrast keeps the texture visible without forming a defined motif. As a fabric in the Tres Boucle collection, this colourway is particularly suited to upholstery where its tactile surface can be appreciated at close range.

How to use it

Use Clayton Ivory on a relaxed armchair, sofa or headboard to soften a room with its warm cream tone. Pair it with pale timber, natural stone and muted taupe textiles so the horizontal slub texture remains the focal detail.

The warm ivory ground and gently irregular bouclé texture bring soft, understated depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
