About this fabric

From Zinc Textile’s Tres Boucle collection, Buster Chalk has a visibly looped, tactile surface rather than a smooth or polished finish. Its creamy chalk ground is broken by fine beige-grey flecks and softly uneven horizontal rows, creating subtle movement across the cloth. Broad lighter bands appear where the swatch folds, while the raised texture catches slightly deeper shadow in the recesses. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so the character of this fabric is defined here by its visible colour and bouclé texture.

How to use it

Use this calm chalk-cream colourway to upholster an occasional chair, headboard or softly tailored bench where its nubby texture can add depth without introducing strong colour. Pair it with warm ivory, pale timber and muted beige accents to bring out the gentle tonal variation in the weave.

A pale, nubby bouclé for softly textured upholstery on chairs, headboards and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
