Glynde Cognac
Zinc Textile X Mhd 1 Fabric
Glynde Cognac pairs a pale grey, linen-like ground with irregular cognac-brown blocks arranged in a softly broken geometric check. The warm rusted tone gives the pattern a grounded, tactile character.

About this fabric
Across the surface, small rectangular and square marks vary in size and spacing, creating a relaxed checked rhythm rather than a rigid grid. The cognac shade shifts between burnt orange, rust and medium brown, standing out clearly against the cool pale ground. A visibly textured weave softens the geometric pattern, with subtle variation across the threads that keeps the surface from looking flat. Its apparent mid-weight makes it a versatile choice for upholstered pieces, cushions or drapery.
How to use it
Use Glynde Cognac to warm a room built around pale grey, oatmeal or natural timber, where its rust-brown blocks can act as the main colour accent. It also works well alongside aged leather, brushed metal and quiet cream textiles.
A warm, textured check that brings earthy contrast to both upholstery and softly structured window treatments.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Glynde Cognac without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
