Rajastan Ultramarine

Archive Collection on Linen FabricRajastan - ULTRAMARINE

Rajastan Ultramarine creates a densely layered botanical scene in deep, cool blue against a warm cream ground. Coral blooms, sage leaves and fine illustrative details add colour without diminishing the shade’s strong visual depth.

About this fabric

Large leafy forms and clustered flowering stems overlap across the design, giving the surface the feel of an illustrated garden rather than a simple repeat. Ultramarine foliage is the dominant note, shifting from dark navy-blue depths to clearer blue passages, while coral, dusty green and muted peach bring measured warmth. The warm cream background keeps the densely drawn pattern legible and prevents the darker areas from reading as flat. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a room can carry a confident, cool blue focal point—on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtains—then echo the coral flowers with small terracotta or rust accents. Warm timber and aged brass will complement the cream ground and soften the ultramarine depth.

A richly layered botanical scene, balancing deep ultramarine foliage with a warm cream ground and small coral accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
