About this fabric

The design consists of repeated lobed leaves arranged in staggered rows, with pale edging and slim stems giving each motif a lightly outlined appearance. Its slate-blue ground reads cool and quiet, while the muted terracotta leaves add a warm, softened contrast rather than a bright accent. The visible weave has a compact, grainy texture that gives the colourway depth at close range. No composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied for this fabric, so its dense-looking woven texture is the key visible specification.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a structured chair, bench or headboard, allowing the slate-blue ground to sit alongside warm timber, aged brass and terracotta accessories. Keep surrounding textiles simple so the repeated leaf rhythm remains the focal point.

Use the cool slate-blue ground to balance the warm, muted terracotta leaf pattern in tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
