Avebury Brick Fabric

Misc Fabric

Avebury Brick brings a warm, weathered brick-terracotta ground to an illustrated menagerie of pale animals, stars, sprigs and flowers. The restrained contrast gives the swatch a softly aged, storybook character.

About this fabric

Against the warm brick-terracotta ground, the swatch shows an all-over arrangement of chalky cream-beige animals, botanical sprigs, stars and small flowers. Fine horizontal and vertical slubs create a dry, linen-like woven texture, while the slightly softened motif edges add to its vintage feel. The muted contrast lets the pale deer, horses, birds and other creatures emerge gently from the rust-toned field rather than appearing sharply outlined. No performance features or further specification data are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Avebury Brick to bring warmth and gentle pattern to a relaxed armchair, bench or pair of curtains. Its earthy terracotta field works naturally with oatmeal, faded olive, warm ivory and aged wood.

Pair its warm brick ground and chalky motifs with natural linens, aged timber and softly coloured plains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
