Canale String Fabric

Misc Fabric

Canale String pairs a warm string-coloured ground with fine taupe-grey lines that gather into an irregular, softly drawn grid. Its restrained contrast lets the surface texture remain the focus.

About this fabric

The swatch has a creamy string base with a gentle warmth rather than a stark white appearance. Fine vertical striations are interrupted by uneven horizontal lines, creating loose rectangular blocks across the surface. The taupe-grey markings are muted and softly defined, giving the pattern a lightly weathered, hand-drawn character. This mid-visual-weight textile is suitable for either upholstery or drapery where a quiet linear structure is wanted.

How to use it

Use Canale String on relaxed seating, cushions or full-length curtains alongside warm woods, stone and soft beige upholstery. Its low-contrast taupe-grey grid works particularly well in rooms that need texture without a dominant pattern.

Use its warm string ground and quiet taupe-grey geometry to bring subtle graphic texture to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
