Ashanti Denim Fabric

Misc Fabric

Ashanti Denim presents a cool, weathered blue-grey ground crossed by narrow vertical bands of angular, maze-like geometric motifs. Darker blue lines and softly mottled tonal shading give the surface a tactile, gently aged appearance.

About this fabric

The pattern is arranged in repeated vertical columns, with stepped squares, zigzags, hooked forms and small rounded marks picked out in deeper denim blue. Subtle variations in the ground keep the colourway from appearing flat, while the woven surface softens the contrast between the pale blue-grey and dark motifs. Its medium visual weight makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair this muted denim blue with pale oak, warm off-white upholstery and aged brass, or use it as a graphic counterpoint to plain grey-blue curtains and textured neutrals.

Use this cool denim blue with warm timber, pale stone and natural textures to balance its graphic woven pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
