About this fabric

The narrow woven band is finished with uneven, feathery strands that overlap in a dense fringe, giving the trim a deliberately tactile appearance. Rust and deep burgundy fibres bring a warm Negroni-like intensity, while cream and brown threads break up the colour and add a softly weathered dimension. The mixed fibres catch the light unevenly, so the surface reads as layered rather than flat. With its substantial, decorative construction, this textile is best suited to upholstery detailing and other hard-edged furnishing accents.

How to use it

Use the warm rust and burgundy tones against brown leather, tobacco velvet or softly neutral upholstery. Apply it along the front rail of a chair, the edge of a footstool or a cushion for a richly decorative finish.

Use this richly coloured fringe to add tactile trim detail to upholstered seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
