Fig Twig Fabric pairs a warm mushroom-taupe ground with repeating chalky floral motifs framed by slender ogee outlines. The muted contrast gives the pattern a calm, softly tailored presence.

About this fabric

The design is arranged in an even vertical repeat, with stylised leafy blooms set inside elongated, curling ogee shapes. Its pale grey-cream pattern stands clearly against the deeper taupe background without appearing stark. A fine, visible crosshatched texture runs through the ground, giving the surface a woven, tactile character. The medium visual weight and balanced repeat make this fabric suitable for either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use this mushroom taupe colourway on a statement chair, bench or relaxed curtain, pairing it with chalk, stone and warm wood tones. Its restrained contrast also works well alongside plain linen-look fabrics in soft neutrals.

Use this softly contrasting taupe and chalk pattern to bring tailored botanical detail to upholstery or drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fig Twig Fabric without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
