Pigment Wallcovering Ashlar

Pigment Wallcovering Ashlar pairs a chalky cream ground with loosely scattered painterly marks. Cool greys, dusty blue, warm taupe and restrained rust create an airy, layered impression without a heavy visual block.

About this wallpaper

This colourway is catalogued as wallpaper and is shown with an irregular, abstract arrangement of brush-like fragments rather than a rigid geometric repeat. The predominantly ivory and pale cream background keeps the design light, while charcoal-grey, stone, muted blue, ochre and soft rust marks add finely varied depth. Small areas of darker pigment give the surface definition, but the overall impression remains quiet and washed with light. The sample image identifies the layout as a half drop, reinforcing the relaxed movement of the scattered artwork.

How to use it

Use Ashlar on a bedroom, landing or softly furnished sitting room wall where its cool cream base can brighten the space. Pick up its taupe, dusty blue or muted rust accents in linen, painted wood or small accessories rather than matching every mark exactly.

Use this light, painterly colourway to bring a softly artistic layer to bedrooms, hallways or relaxed living spaces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pigment Wallcovering Ashlar without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
