Black Edition

Isenzo Wallcovering Quill

Isenzo Wallcovering Quill presents a detailed monochrome landscape across a pale ground, with dark ink-like scenes of pavilions, trees, birds and water. The fine contrast gives the repeat the appearance of an engraved or toile-inspired print.

About this wallpaper

The Quill colourway is defined by black and soft grey imagery against an ivory-white background, creating depth without introducing another hue. Repeating vignettes include architectural pavilions, spreading trees, birds, figures and layered landscape details, giving the surface a richly illustrated character. The marks vary from crisp dark silhouettes to lighter, more delicate passages, so the design reads as atmospheric rather than flat. This SKU is catalogued as wallpaper; no composition, width or performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Pair this black-and-ivory colourway with warm timber, aged brass and plain natural fabrics to balance its intricate scenic detail. It would make a particularly effective feature wall in a dining room, study or bedroom where the formal monochrome drawing can be appreciated at close range.

Use this monochrome scenic repeat to create a composed, collected backdrop in studies, dining rooms or characterful bedrooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Isenzo Wallcovering Quill without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
