Tsauri Fabric

Onuma Anthracite presents a deep charcoal surface with closely worked directional lines and subtle tonal variation. In the image, it is used across a broad upholstered bench and coordinating cushions, where the dark colour gives the form a grounded, tailored presence.

About this fabric

The anthracite ground reads as a near-black charcoal grey, with lighter graphite and muted brown-grey threads catching across the surface. Its fine, directional line pattern creates a softly etched texture rather than a bold geometric repeat. The image shows the fabric upholstered on a bench seat, base and cushions, demonstrating how the dark tone holds its depth across larger and smaller surfaces. A restrained sheen appears on the raised cushion edges and gently catches the directional texture on the seat.

How to use it

Use this deep, cool charcoal on a tailored bench or ottoman, pairing it with pale stone, weathered timber and muted blue-grey accents to bring out the lighter threads visible in the surface.

The deep anthracite tone and directional texture suit tailored benches, ottomans and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
