About this fabric

The close-up shows an irregular woven texture, with fine vertical movement and mottled charcoal-violet flecks breaking through the purple ground. The colour reads cool and saturated in the darker areas, while raised or lighter threads catch the light with a subtle worn shimmer. At 566gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery rather than a light, fluid drapery cloth. It has a 138cm useable width, and the supplied vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, making the surface non-directional and non-repeating.

How to use it

Use Nesa Purple on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its dark aubergine tone can be balanced with smoked timber, aged metal, charcoal and warm neutral cushions.

Use this deep aubergine textile to bring rich, low-lit colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
