Biarritz Slate is a cool grey textile with a closely woven, softly mottled surface. Fine black and pale threads intermingle across the slate ground, giving the colour gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The small-scale weave creates a subtle crosshatched texture that catches the light softly, while the cool slate tone remains restrained and versatile. At 284gsm and 140cm wide, it has the substance for upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The design has a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so the surface reads continuously across the cloth. A standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Pair this cool slate grey with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme, or use it against deeper charcoal and blue accents to draw out the weave’s tonal variation.

Use the cool slate-grey weave to bring quiet texture to upholstery, curtains or blinds.
