About this fabric

The 588gsm weight makes Gaia Mineral a substantial choice for upholstery rather than a fine, fluid cloth. Its 138cm usable width and zero-centimetre vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the woven texture straightforward to position across upholstered panels. In the image, cool aqua and turquoise tones are lifted by fine white threads, creating a chalky, mineral finish with subtle tonal variation. A standard roll length of 30 metres supports larger upholstery projects as well as coordinated pieces.

How to use it

Use this pale, cool aqua on a generously shaped sofa or reading chair where its crosshatched surface can soften the clean colour. Pair it with warm timber, chalky whites and sandy neutrals to balance the mineral tone without losing its fresh blue-green character.

The substantial 588gsm weave brings a softly tailored, textural finish to upholstery, especially on sofas, occasional chairs and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
