Gaia Flax

Eco FabricCCF0556-05

Gaia Flax has a softly warm, pale flax-beige ground with a fine woven texture that gives the surface gentle visual depth. Its understated appearance is defined by the irregular crossing of light and darker threads rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a substantial plain weave in a muted flax beige, with delicate horizontal and vertical slubs creating a quiet crosshatch effect. The 588gsm weight gives this textile a dense, upholstery-suitable presence, while the softly varied threads prevent the pale colour from looking flat. It has a 138cm usable width and no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, making the continuous texture straightforward to position. The supplied standard length is 30 metres.

How to use it

Use Gaia Flax on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its warm pale beige can soften deeper woods, chalky painted finishes and natural textures. Its low-contrast weave suits relaxed, tonal rooms without introducing a strong motif.

A substantial flax-beige weave with understated crosshatch texture for relaxed upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
