Botany Tropical

Exotica FabricCCF0376-03

Botany Tropical layers a warm cream ground with coral hibiscus, palms, butterflies, fruit and a spotted leopard in an illustrated tropical scene. Olive and leafy greens soften the brighter coral and blue details, giving the colourway a sun-washed, natural character.

About this fabric

The design is visibly dense and large in scale, with palms, exotic flowers, seed pods, butterflies, pineapples and a leopard distributed across the cream background. Coral-red hibiscus and fruit provide the strongest flashes of colour, while faded olive, sage, teal and blue-green foliage keep the overall impression gently weathered rather than intensely saturated. At 226gsm and 140cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 69cm vertical repeat and a 69cm horizontal repeat, so its generous botanical composition should be considered carefully when cutting.

How to use it

Use this cream-led colourway on a feature armchair, relaxed blind or full curtains where its coral flowers can be picked out with warm terracotta accents. Pair it with natural timber, woven textures and olive or muted blue accessories to echo the foliage and butterflies without competing with the scene.

A lively cream-ground tropical print that brings coral flowers, leafy greens, blue accents and wildlife into relaxed upholstery or drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
