About this fabric

The design is built from tightly packed, irregular marks that read almost like a small-scale woven mosaic, with warm orange and copper accents breaking through the cool charcoal base. Pale cream and blue-grey details catch the eye across the surface, while the dark ground gives the colourway considerable depth rather than a bright, high-contrast finish. Supplied at 150gsm, this wallpaper has a 52cm usable width and a 10.05m standard length. Its vertical pattern repeat is 32cm, with the horizontal repeat listed as 0cm.

How to use it

Use Spice/Dusk across a snug dining room, study or reading nook where its charcoal depth can be balanced by warm oak, antique metal and russet textiles. Keep larger furnishings simple so the rust, cream and blue-grey flecks provide the room’s layered colour interest.

Pair the charcoal ground with warm timber, aged brass and rust-toned upholstery for a layered, atmospheric scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
