Opulenza Kingfisher brings an icy teal-blue wash to a pale sheer ground, with irregular vertical strokes that deepen towards the lower edge of the swatch. The uneven, brush-like texture gives the colourway a cool, lightly atmospheric character.

About this fabric

This lightweight Clarke & Clarke textile weighs 100gsm and is suited to drapery, where its fine appearance and 300cm usable width can work well for tall curtain drops. Pale ivory and cool white areas break through the blue-green pigment, while denser turquoise marks create a softly graduated impression from top to bottom. The painterly vertical design has a 37cm vertical repeat and a 22.4cm horizontal repeat, giving the surface movement without a rigid geometric grid. Supplied in a standard 40m length, Opulenza Kingfisher reads as a fresh, cool-toned sheer with visible linear texture.

How to use it

Use Kingfisher at full height against white, chalk or pale grey walls to emphasise its icy ground and turquoise depth. Its cool blue-green streaks would also complement brushed silver, bleached timber and other quiet, watery tones.

Use this lightweight, painterly sheer for full-height curtains where its cool teal-blue streaks can catch the light.
