About this fabric

The duckegg ground leans towards a softened blue-grey, while the pale white branches, trunks and clustered blossoms create a crisp but gentle contrast. Its fine woven texture gives the surface a quiet, linen-like visual grain rather than a flat printed appearance. At 367gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 126.5cm usable width carries a 31.5cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, making the evenly spaced trees straightforward to plan across a project.

How to use it

Use Bowood Duckegg to cool a neutral room on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain, pairing the blue-grey ground with chalky whites and pale natural woods. The white tree silhouettes also make it effective as a measured pattern on cushions or a blind.

A cool duckegg ground and soft white tree motif bring quiet structure to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
