About this fabric
This Clarke & Clarke fabric has a compact, even weave that reads as plum-purple with cooler berry and charcoal notes between the threads. The 380 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery applications. At 140 cm wide, it is supplied in standard 40 m lengths for practical project planning. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, reflecting the uninterrupted plain-weave surface visible here.
How to use it
Pair Nantucket Grape with warm stone, smoked oak and aged brass to balance its cool, dusky depth. It is especially effective on a statement armchair, dining seat or tailored sofa where the fine weave can be seen at close range.
