Acanthus PVC Teal

William Morris Designs FabricCCX0161-04

Acanthus PVC Teal combines a cool, muted teal ground with pale scrolling acanthus leaves and curling stems. The close-set botanical repeat creates a richly patterned surface with a calm, slightly weathered tonal depth.

About this fabric

The design is built from layered blue-green foliage, with soft sage, greyed teal and pale ivory details picking out the curling acanthus forms. At 27.8cm vertically by 23cm horizontally, the repeat reads as a medium-scale pattern that remains detailed without overwhelming the swatch. Its substantial 490gsm weight and 130cm usable width make it particularly well suited to upholstery applications. The 20m standard length is practical for coordinating multiple upholstered pieces in the same colourway.

How to use it

Pair this cool teal colourway with chalky stone, warm cream and aged brass for a balanced scheme, or use it on a statement armchair against dark timber to emphasise the pale foliage. Its dense botanical rhythm also works well on a headboard or occasional seating where the repeat can be appreciated up close.

Use this cool teal acanthus pattern to bring layered botanical detail to upholstered seating, especially alongside pale neutrals and warm timber.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Acanthus PVC Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
