About this fabric

This 490gsm fabric has the substantial handle suited to upholstery, with a 130cm usable width for planning larger pieces. Its repeating acanthus leaves overlap in fine, curling outlines, combining slate-blue shadows with dove, pale sage and occasional warm grey details. The colourway reads muted and cool rather than stark, with the light leaf highlights lifting the deeper blue-grey shapes. The vertical pattern repeat is 27.8cm and the horizontal repeat is 23cm; the standard length is 20m.

How to use it

Use this cool slate-and-dove colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or tailored sofa, pairing it with chalky walls, pale woods and blue-grey plain textiles. The softly muted foliage also suits a calm sitting room where warmer taupe accents can draw out the small beige notes in the pattern.
