Ferrat Ivoire

Biot FabricM4025-01

Ferrat Ivoire is a softly textured plain in a warm ivory tone, with a natural, lightly heathered look across the surface. Its subtle weave gives the colour a gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This Biot fabric from Manuel Canovas has a calm ivory ground that reads creamy rather than stark white, with the tiny slub and weave of the cloth visible throughout the surface. The composition combines 30% linen, 19% polyester, 19% wool, 15% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% polyamide, giving it a pleasingly tactile, blended handle. At approximately 142cm wide, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it suits schemes where the texture is the detail rather than a printed motif. The overall effect is soft, matte and understated, with just enough warmth in the tone to feel inviting.

How to use it

Use this ivory colourway to lift darker timber, stone or aged brass, where its soft tone will keep the room feeling light. It works especially well on upholstered seating or full-length curtains when you want texture without strong contrast.

A quiet ivory for pared-back schemes, with enough texture to soften crisp modern lines.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
