Ferrat Azur

Biot FabricM4025-05

Ferrat Azur reads as a very light, cool azur with a gentle heathered effect across the weave. The surface has a dry, tactile texture that gives the pale blue tone a soft, understated finish.

About this fabric

Ferrat Azur from Manuel Canovas' Biot collection is a woven fabric with no repeat, making the small-scale texture feel calm and continuous across larger pieces. It is 142cm wide approximately and composed of 30% Linen, 19% Polyester, 19% Wool, 15% Cotton, 12% Viscose and 5% Polyamide. The cloth shows a misty azur ground with tiny off-white flecks and subtle grey-blue shading, so the colour feels cool, airy and slightly chalky rather than bright. With its balanced blend of natural and man-made fibres and the Q 8 + T 3 care code, it offers a refined, quietly textured look suitable for both structured upholstery and lighter interior uses. The √BM fire code is also supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this pale azur tone to lift neutral rooms, especially alongside ivory linen, bleached timber and silver accents. It works particularly well where you want a fresh, coastal note without a strong saturated blue.

Pair this airy azur weave with pale oak, chalk white, or brushed nickel for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
