About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep rust orange with brown undertones, giving the cloth a warm, grounded look rather than a bright paprika finish. The surface has a gentle woven texture visible in the swatch, with subtle tonal movement that keeps the plain design from looking flat. It is composed of 65% Polyester and 35% Cotton, with an approximate width of 142cm and a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so it works cleanly as a plain upholstery or drapery fabric. The fire code is K, and the care code C 8 < T 3 is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Mali Rust to add warmth to neutral seating, cushions or relaxed curtains, where its muted terracotta tone can anchor pale timber, chalky plaster and olive accents. It also pairs well with natural linens and dark metal finishes for a grounded, contemporary feel.

A warm rust tone that brings depth and a soft, earthy finish to contemporary or rustic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
