Reece Petrol Blue

Reece Petrol Blue is a softly textured plain in a cool, muted blue with a gentle petrol cast. Its understated surface and even colour make it feel calm and refined rather than bright or glossy.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a blue-grey petrol shade, with a cool depth that softens into a slightly chalky finish across the weave. The fabric is made from 70% cotton and 30% linen, giving it a natural, lightly slubbed look that feels relaxed but still neat. With an approx. width of 142cm and no visible repeat, it is straightforward to pattern match and use across larger runs. The surface appears crisp rather than heavy, which gives it enough structure for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery as well.

How to use it

Use this petrol blue with pale oak, putty, or soft white to keep the room fresh, or pair it with brass and charcoal for a more tailored scheme. It works especially well where you want colour, but in a restrained and grown-up register.

A cool petrol blue that gives a tailored, quietly polished finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
