About this fabric
This 138cm-wide chenille is composed of 52% acrylic and 48% polyester, and is graded for domestic upholstery. The light cream background keeps the colourway airy, while the oversized flowers introduce muted blue-green depth alongside warm blush and peach accents. Fine horizontal lines are visible through the weave, softening the printed-style floral outlines and giving the surface a subtly tactile appearance. It has domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade, and requires professional aftercare.
How to use it
Use IMP1586 on a fireside chair, headboard or sofa where its soft cream base can brighten the upholstery while the dusty blue, sage and blush flowers connect with muted painted walls and natural timber. Keep surrounding fabrics relatively plain to let the varied floral scale remain the focus.
Use this softly coloured floral chenille to bring a light, quietly traditional finish to upholstered seating.
