NUO2066 is a softly mottled grey chenille with a cloudy, mineral-like surface that moves between silver grey and deeper charcoal. Its tonal variation gives the plain-looking ground more depth without introducing a defined motif.

About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The close, brushed-looking surface combines pale grey flecks with smoky charcoal areas, creating a gently weathered appearance. It is machine washable, and its flame-retardancy specification is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade. The restrained, non-directional texture makes the colourway especially easy to upholster across broad seating surfaces.

How to use it

Use NUO2066 on a sofa or deep armchair where its cool grey-and-charcoal tonal mix can anchor warmer timber, cream and black accents. Pair it with plain textiles in soft white or slate grey to keep the cloudy surface as the room’s main textural detail.

A softly mottled grey chenille for contemporary sofas, chairs and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
