About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a dense surface with subtle tonal shifts that move between charcoal and near-black. The restrained, irregular shading gives the plain ground visual depth without introducing a distinct motif. NUO2068 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making it suitable for seating applications where a dark, textural finish is wanted. It is machine washable, and its domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal colourway on a tailored sofa, dining chair or statement armchair, pairing it with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutral walls to draw out its soft grey variation. Its near-black depth also works well as an anchoring upholstery tone in contemporary rooms.
