About this fabric

The irregular, shadowed texture gives this colourway a plush, almost velvet-like depth without a printed motif. Woven in 100% polyester, the 138cm-wide chenille is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, making the tactile finish practical as well as decorative. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with the fabric able to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair the muted mauve-plum tone with warm taupe, walnut and aged brass for a cocooning scheme, or set it against pale plaster and soft grey for a cooler contrast. Its tonal surface works especially well on a statement armchair, headboard or generously shaped sofa.

Use this deep mauve-plum chenille to bring softly tactile colour and tonal depth to upholstered seating.
