Scenario FabricSCE2100

SCE2100 is a deep charcoal-grey chenille with a finely drawn herringbone texture, giving the surface a cool, tailored appearance. Subtle tonal variation across the weave keeps the dark shade from looking flat.

About this fabric

The closely repeated chevron-like weave is visible across the swatch as fine, darker and lighter grey marks, creating a quiet woven pattern rather than a bold motif. Its charcoal tone has a cool slate cast and catches the light softly through the chenille pile. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, SCE2100 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this cool charcoal colourway with pale timber, blackened metal or softly contrasting stone tones for a composed, contemporary room. Its small-scale herringbone texture works particularly well on tailored sofas, dining chairs and upholstered headboards.

Use this cool charcoal herringbone chenille to bring a tailored, understated finish to sofas, chairs and headboards.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside SCE2100 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
