About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester chenille, SCE2101 combines a deep charcoal ground with closely spaced chevron lines that create a discreet, tactile texture. The cool blue-green undertone keeps this dark shade from reading as flat black, while the fine weave gives it a smart, tailored character. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable, has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use SCE2101 to upholster a contemporary sofa, headboard or dining chair when a cool charcoal tone is preferred over warmer brown-black shades. Pair it with pale stone, washed timber or muted blue-green accents to draw out the subtle colour beneath its dark surface.
Use this cool charcoal chenille on sofas, dining chairs or occasional upholstery where its fine herringbone texture can add quiet depth.
