About this colour

This shade reads as a warm, light colour with enough cream in it to soften the pink and keep it calm on a wall. In north-facing light it can look a touch cooler and more pared back, with the beige side coming forward; in south-facing rooms it feels warmer, rosier and more enveloping. Against pale oak, walnut or painted trim in soft white, Reverie holds its place without becoming bright or chalky. In Flat Matt it will feel most muted, while Eggshell and Soft Sheen will show the colour a little more clearly on woodwork or joinery.

How to use it

Reverie suits bedrooms, dressing rooms and sitting rooms where a gentle, lived-in pink is wanted. It pairs well with linen-coloured upholstery, aged brass, pale timber and darker stained woodwork.

A soft blush pink like this brings warmth to a wall without feeling sharp.
