Millais Lavanda

Curtain fabrics Fabric008

Millais Lavanda presents a quiet, dusty lavender-taupe tone with a delicate woven surface. The fine interlacing gives the plain cloth a softly mottled look rather than a completely flat finish.

About this fabric

The swatch is a finely woven, plain textile with subtle horizontal and vertical variation visible across its surface. Its lavender shade is softened with taupe, creating a cool, powdery colour that reads more muted than saturated. Light catches the tiny woven ridges gently, adding depth without introducing a printed motif. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, it is a natural choice for drapery where a restrained texture and understated colour are wanted.

How to use it

Use Millais Lavanda for full-length curtains in a room with chalky whites, pale timber and cool stone, or pair it with deeper mauve accents to draw out its dusty purple depth.

A cool, muted lavender-taupe woven cloth for understated curtains and softly tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
