About this fabric

The pale beige ground has a close, tactile grid-like weave that remains visible between the larger motifs. Dusty lilac-purple arches and pointed, trailing shapes create an abstract pattern with a fluid, hand-drawn character. Small warm-gold and taupe flecks catch across the motif edges, giving the pattern gentle definition without making the colourway feel bright. The overall effect is cool, muted and softly dimensional, with the woven surface adding depth beneath the quiet contrast.

How to use it

Use Lilaz Malva on an occasional chair, headboard or tailored sofa where its dusty lilac can sit alongside ivory, warm stone and muted brass. The pale ground keeps the larger abstract pattern light while the gold-toned flecks connect naturally with warmer timber and metal accents.

Pair the cool dusty lilac with warm beige, ivory or muted brass tones to echo the swatch’s soft contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
