About this fabric

The close, plush-looking surface gives this velvet a rich tactile presence, while the low-contrast pattern keeps the overall effect deep and composed. Prugna reads as a cool, wine-toned plum rather than a bright purple, with near-black shadows adding definition to the design. The softly changing sheen makes the abstract, branching marks emerge and recede across the swatch. As a velvet, it is especially suited to upholstery where its dense colour and light-responsive surface can be appreciated.

How to use it
