Classique French Blue

Eco -Friendly Ranges Fabric

Classique French Blue shows a tonal floral damask with a softly raised texture and a calm, muted blue ground. The pattern reads elegant rather than bright, with the motifs sitting just a shade deeper than the background.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% BCI Cotton, this fabric has a 138cm width and a generous 78cm vertical by 69.5cm horizontal repeat, which suits larger-scale pattern placement. The surface has a tactile, almost embossed look, with the floral and scrolling motifs appearing in a slightly darker blue than the ground. That low-contrast finish gives the fabric a mellow, dusty French blue character rather than a vivid or icy one. It feels polished and decorative, with enough presence for statement furnishings while still remaining usable in everyday interiors. Care instructions are listed as 1<AWQ.

How to use it

Use this soft French blue to add quiet pattern to a bedroom headboard, a smart occasional chair, or full-length curtains where the large repeat can be appreciated. It pairs neatly with pale oak, chalky whites, and warm neutrals that keep the colour feeling airy.

A refined blue that works beautifully across relaxed upholstery and elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
