About this fabric

The repeating motif has a paisley-like teardrop outline, with fine curving details surrounding a lighter central shape. In this Shell colourway, warm cream is softened by dusty blush and muted taupe, creating a delicate low-contrast finish rather than a bright pink effect. The fabric is woven from 77% linen, 20% viscose and 3% polyester, with a 39 cm vertical repeat and 16 cm horizontal repeat. At 128 cm wide, it is specified for curtains and bedspreads; after-care requires professional dry cleaning and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Ashmore Shell for full-length curtains where its pale warm ground can catch natural light without overwhelming a room. It also brings a softly decorative finish to a bedspread, especially alongside ivory, oatmeal and muted rose tones.

A softly patterned shell ground with blush and taupe detail, well suited to curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
