About this fabric

The ground reads as deep black with a slightly charcoal quality, giving the densely arranged floral repeat a nocturnal, enveloping mood. Large crimson and coral blooms sit beside turquoise-blue flowers, ochre leaves, orange tendrils and small cream blossoms, creating striking jewel-toned contrast. The intricate botanical scale is clearly suited to a confident, decorative scheme rather than a restrained plain. This fabric is catalogued as Velvet; no further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the almost-black ground to anchor a statement armchair, headboard or sofa, then draw out its turquoise, rust-red and ochre accents through cushions, painted joinery or small decorative pieces. The rich contrast works especially well in layered, maximalist rooms where the floral detail can be seen up close.

A dramatic black-ground floral for statement upholstery and richly layered, maximalist interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
