About this fabric

The close-set stripes alternate warm red and claret accents with olive, cream and grey, giving this colourway a deeper, earthier character than a simple multicolour stripe. At 680 gsm, the substantial weight makes it well suited to upholstery. The fabric has a usable width of 137 cm and a standard length of 30 m. Its pattern repeat is 0 cm vertically and 34.3 cm horizontally, allowing the narrow stripes to run continuously from top to bottom while the horizontal design repeat is managed across the width.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with warm timber, olive-painted details and neutral upholstery companions so the tabasco and claret lines read as deliberate accents rather than overpowering the room. The vertical stripe is especially effective on structured chairs, benches and headboards.

Use the dense olive, claret and tabasco striping to bring tailored colour and rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
